Testimonials: Whiplash
Connie Pitts
My physical health problems started in 1997 when I was in a car wreck. I had symptoms of whiplash within two weeks of the accident. Also, I fell off a boat in 1998 onto concrete pavement resulting in a brain fracture. I dealt with these two issues for more than 6 years going to two different doctors and the Morris Clinic. I also took many kinds of drugs to help with pain management. For instance, I have taken, Wellbutrin, Prozac, Celebrex, and Flexeril to help me cope with everyday life and my job of teaching.
Last November, 2003, I hit a dear head on. This resulted in me having to deal with more pain in my right leg (called sciatica) for a whole year. I could not sleep and my life became hell. I changed jobs because I could not deal with the pressures that were placed upon me.
Since I have been going to Dr. Davenport, almost all my pain in my leg has gone away and I am able to sleep better. Before seeking his help, I had tried alternative touch therapy and changed my diet, eliminating wheat and oats, yet with no success. I have been seeing Dr. Davenport for about 9 visits and can’t believe the drastic change in the elimination of pain in my leg. I had given up hope and felt like just not even trying to keep working or anything. Thank you, Dr. Davenport for giving me hope again.

Mine is a personal injury story. I was in an automobile accident and suffered whip lash. I could not turn my heat to the right. I could not get my back and shoulders into a comfortable position. I suffered lots of pain around my neck, my muscles in my neck and shoulders were stiff and sore, and I had a limited range of motion.
Because of my injuries, I could not work. I train horses and need to be able to ride which I could not do because of the pain. It hurt to do anything physical or even look behind me when driving.
I came to see Dr. Davenport two days after my accident. In the three months I have been in his care, I have experienced improvement in my specific muscular-skeletal problems and my overall well-being. Additionally, I find that everyone is very nice and helpful when I come in for my adjustments.
